Dr. Tiantian Jin is a researcher, education advocate, and FWE Young Leader with a deep passion for learning, human development, and meaningful educational impact. She received her Ph.D. in Cognitive Science in Education and M.S. in Learning Analytics from Columbia University, where her work focused on how people learn, how evidence can inform the design of learning experiences, and how research can be translated into real-world impact.

Tiantian began her career at the intersection of education, research, and technology, with experience across an EdTech start-up, The New York Times, and Pearson. At Pearson, she led research to support the development of evidence-based learning products and educational solutions. This early work shaped her
enduring belief that education should not only improve learning outcomes, but also cultivate curiosity, confidence, adaptability, and lifelong learning.

After Pearson, Tiantian continued to expand her research experience beyond the education sector, joining Meta as a Senior User Experience Researcher and later J.P. Morgan Chase, where she is currently a Vice President and research lead. These experiences have broadened her perspective on how people interact with complex systems, how organizations use evidence to make better decisions, and how human-centered
research can create impact across different contexts.

Despite her work across industries, Tiantian’s intellectual foundation and personal passion remain deeply rooted in education. She continues to care deeply about how children learn, how schools shape curiosity and character, and how families and educators can work together to support the next generation. She believes that the ultimate purpose of education is not only to prepare students for academic success, but to help them become confident, resilient, thoughtful, and lifelong learners.
