After graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature from Beihang University in 1996, Kong participated in the founding of Taikang Life Insurance Company. She studied as a graduate student at University of Pennsylvania in 1999, founded Beijing Mao Culture Media Company in 2001, and established Dongrun Foundation in 2015.
