The Forum for World Education (FWE) was honored to participate in the 12th China and Globalization Forum hosted by CCG, where our President, Dr. Cheng Davis, spoke at the China-U.S. Youth Roundtable: “A Model for China-U.S. Youth Exchanges: Success and Insights from Schwarzman College.”

In her remarks, Dr. Davis reaffirmed a principle at the heart of FWE’s mission: education is diplomacy. She emphasized that educational exchange has long been one of the strongest bridges connecting the United States and China, and that this work is more important today than ever.

Reflecting on the session’s focus on Schwarzman College, she also expressed appreciation for the vision behind initiatives of this kind. Programs like Schwarzman College create valuable opportunities for young people from different countries to learn from one another, deepen mutual understanding, and strengthen the foundation for long-term exchange.

The positive response from business leaders and international participants in the room was deeply encouraging. It affirmed the importance of the work FWE has long sought to advance: fostering understanding through dialogue, strengthening trust through exchange, and investing in young people as the foundation for future cooperation. U.S.-China educational exchange remains a vital and mutually beneficial form of cooperation.

FWE is proud to contribute to this important conversation and to continue advancing education diplomacy as a pathway to understanding, dialogue, and global cooperation.
