The Forum for World Education (FWE) held its first closed-door planning meeting from September 25 to 27, 2018, in Beijing, China. This foundational gathering brought together distinguished members of the Steering Committee, as well as senior representatives from academia, government, and the private sector.
The purpose of the meeting was to lay the groundwork for the Forum’s mission and global strategy, including its organizational structure, leadership framework, and future events. As FWE aspires to become a premier platform for reshaping global education in the 21st century, this meeting marked a pivotal step toward its institutional establishment.
