Stephen T. Golding

Mr. Golding has over 35 years of experience in higher education financial affairs, investment management, strategic resource planning and government. He currently serves as the Treasurer for the Forum for World Education. Mr. Golding recently stepped down as the Vice President of Administration/ CFO at Ohio University. Prior to Ohio, Mr. Golding was the Executive Vice President for Finance and Administration at Cornell University.  While at Cornell Golding served as principle advisor to the Governor’s Task Force on Diversifying the New York State Economy and developing strategies to sponsor and commercialize New York State universities’ technology to promote regional based economic development.  Prior to joining Cornell, Mr. Golding served as the Chief Financial Officer for both the University of Colorado System and for the University of Pennsylvania. Additionally, he is Managing Partner for The 1782 Group, a higher education consulting firm and a Senior Consultant for the Association of Governing Board Institutional Strategies Group. Mr. Golding holds a Master of Arts Degree in Political Science from the University of Delaware and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History from Washington College where he currently serves as Chair of their Board of Visitors and Governors.

Edric Yi Guo

Edric Yi Guo is the Chief Executive Officer and Head of the Investment Banking Division of Univest Securities, LLC, a Wall Street full-service boutique investment bank founded in 1994. Mr. Guo is one of the most active and diverse investment bankers with an exceptional following in both the Asia Pacific and North America. He brings more than a decade of extensive experience in banking and capital markets and has led over $1 billion worth of transactions including a full suite of private placements, initial public offerings, follow-on public, registered direct offerings, SPACs, and mergers & acquisitions. Since his arrival, Mr. Guo has built the firm into a full-service global banking and distribution platform with investment banking, equity capital markets, debt capital markets and institutional sales, high net worth retail sales and trading, and research departments. Mr. Guo holds double Bachelor’s degrees in both Finance and Real Estate from the University of British Columbia and holds FINRA Series: 3, 7, 24, 66, 79 Registrations.

Sophia Schleicher

Sophia is a second year neuroscience student at the University of Bristol. Before commencing her studies in England, she decided to do a gap year to volunteer in a primary school in Shanghai. Her idea was to transmit her passion for ballet to disadvantaged children who have few opportunities beyond academic studies. Besides her studies, she is now volunteering with the organization World Citizen Artists. Through her experiences, she acquired a vision for a world with mutual understanding across cultures and countries.

Yutong (Tony) Gao

Yutong (Tony) Gao, President of Easy Transfer, China’s largest online financial services platform for overseas Chinese students. Yutong has been recognized as one of the youngest entrepreneurs with tremendous potential in the industry, including Bloomberg Business Week 2016’s “25 under 25”, Harvard China Summits’ Top 15 Entrepreneurs under 25, Fortune Magazine “30 under 30” and Forbes 2017 Finance & Venture Capital’s “30 under 30 Asia”. Tony graduated from University of Southern California and is now taking a gap year from Harvard Business School.

Kusi Hornberger

Partner & Global Knowledge Lead, Dalberg Advisors

Kusi Hornberger is a Partner based in the Washington, DC office. In addition to serving as Dalberg’s Global Knowledge Lead, Kusi also co-leads Dalberg’s Finance & Investment Practice and is particularly passionate about the use of innovative finance and technology to accelerate the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Kusi’s recent work includes various projects at the intersection of impact investing/blended finance and agriculture, global health, and financial services sectors.  For example, in the agriculture sector, Kusi led a financial benchmarking of social lenders providing loans to agricultural small and medium enterprises. In the health sector, Kusi led the design of a blended finance fund aimed at investing in digital health solutions. In the financial services sector, he developed case studies on how data analytics and partnerships can be used to improve the sustainability of financial services to small scale producers.

Kusi has also led the development of several major market research reports on these topics. These include The Missing Middles and Closing the Gaps which segment and identify finance pathways to better serve the needs of small and growing businesses (SGB) as well as seminal state of the sector reports on Unleashing Private Capital in Global Health and Pathways to Prosperity for rural and agricultural finance. More recently, Kusi led the development of the Networking Works and Digital Delivery reports which identify approaches for providing enterprise support services to SGBs.

Prior to joining Dalberg, Kusi was Vice-President of Investment Research at Global Partnerships, an impact-first investor with investments across Central/South America and East Africa. He also has experience working as a management consultant at Bain & Company in South America and as an Investment Officer with the International Finance Corporation.

Kusi holds a Master of Business Administration from INSEAD Business School in Singapore, a Master of Public Administration in International Development from the Harvard Kennedy School and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Pennsylvania.

Jian Jenny Tang, MD

Obstetrics and Gynecology (OBGYN) at Mount Sinai Hospital and Assistant Professor of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Science

Dr. Jian Jenny Tang was born and raised in Shanghai, China and moved to the United States in 1988 with her family to pursue a higher education.  She graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Wisconsin with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Biochemistry and then obtained her Medical Degree from the University of Wisconsin Medical School in Madison where she graduated top of her class.  Thereafter, she completed her residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in 2002.  Dr. Tang has received plenty of recognition and awards and was on the Dean’s Honor List on many occasions throughout college and medical school. She was awarded for excellence in teaching by her medical students and has been voted one of America’s top obstetricians and gynecologists yearly since 2006 by the Consumer’s Research Council of America.

Dr. Tang has over 20 years of experience in general obstetrics and gynecology and has delivered over 5,000 babies. In 2022, she obtained her medical acupuncture license after completing a post-graduate fellowship training at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University.   She is an advocate and leader in the field of complementary and alternative medicine by integrating holistic eastern medicine into modern western medicine and brings acupuncture and acupressure techniques to support her patients during pregnancy, birth and postpartum care.  Dr. Tang helps many patients achieve their goal of giving natural birth thereby reducing caesarean section rates by teaching them various complementary tools.  She is skilled in diagnosing and providing basic treatment for patients with infertility issues and has a strong interest in minimally invasive gynecologic procedures.

Dr. Tang is passionate about women’s health from family planning to childbearing cycle, from motherhood to menopause and continues to guide women to optimal wellness by promoting balance and harmony in the mind, body and spirit.

Dr. Tang is a published author with many interests including but not limited to hormone replacement therapy during perimenopause and menopause, hypertension during pregnancy and polycystic ovarian syndrome and once wrote a textbook chapter on operative vaginal delivery.  In addition, she is the principle investigator in several postpartum depression and wellbeing studies.  Dr. Tang has been invited to speak at major Chinese medical centers and universities since she is actively involved in the Chinese community, Forum for world Education.  She brings her unique background and training in both Western and Traditional Chinese Medicine to serve the needs of the diverse community in New York City.

Dr. Tang, fluent in Mandarin and Shanghainese, lives in Manhattan with her family and enjoys outdoor activities such as boating, fly-fishing, hiking, running and skiing.
